Initial screenings to obtain significant and relevant information about the extent of the use of alcohol and other drugs in order to identify the risk to public safety and recommend treatment.

Educational classes in the areas of Drugs and Alcohol; Causes and Effects; Life Skills; Exploring and Changing; Community Support Groups.

Risk education curriculum includes the following information and satisfies court-ordered risk education requirements.

• Effects of substance use on individuals and families.
• How substance use affects your driving
• Blood alcohol concentration (B.A.C.) and the effect on driving performance
• DUI laws of Illinois and associated penalties
• Referrals for outside services

Counseling is available in individual and group formats.  Sessions consist of therapeutic activities and are led by certified staff members.
